JC Estimate Import File
The method used by Integrator to send estimate amounts from Prolog Manager to Sage Timberline Office is the 'Import Estimates' feature in Timberline Job Cost. This feature imports estimate data from a text file in a special format. Integrator will create this file when you run the 'Perform Modifications' task for Budgets. The default name for the import file is "Estimates from Prolog Manager.JCE". You can specify an alternate name in this box. This may be necessary if you have multiple Integrator connections to the same Timberline database. Providing a unique filename for each connection will guarantee that a given connection will not overwrite the file created by another connection.
After creating JC Estimate import file, launch Timberline macro
By default, you must import the file into Job Cost by selecting the appropriate menu option in Timberline Job Cost. This can be automated by using a Timberline Macro that includes a step to import the file named above. Check this box if you have created a macro for this purpose.
Timberline Macro File
Use this box to specify the filename of the Timberline macro that will import estimates.
Note - Timberline Macro files store the full path to all files used by the tasks within them. Be certain that the macro you select was constructed in the Timberline data folder for which it is to be used.
