Budget Control Grid

This grid provides a means to specify the budget related fields on Prolog Manager budget records that will be updated.  If Timberline Job Cost is configured to track categories, the rows in this grid will represent the standard categories found in Timberline Job Cost.  If categories are not being tracked in Job Cost, the rows in this grid will represent standard cost codes.
There are four checkboxes that may be set for each item listed

Budget Amount

If this box is checked, the Original Budget field in Prolog Manager will be synchronized to equal the Original Estimate field for the specified code in Timbeline Job Cost.

Budget Hours

If this box is checked, the Original Budget Hours field in Prolog Manager will be synchronized to equal the Original Estimate Units field for the specified code in Timbeline Job Cost.  By default, this checkbox is checked for codes that have a value of Labor in their Accumulate As field.

Budget Quantity

If this box is checked, the Original Budget Quantity field in Prolog Manager will be synchronized to equal the Original Estimate Units field for the specified code in Timbeline Job Cost.  By default, this checkbox is not checked for codes that have a value of Labor in their Accumulate As field.

Uncommitted

If this box is checked, the Uncommitted Cost field in Prolog will be adjusted (up or down) by the same amount that the Original Budget field is being changed.  Hence, this field is not being synchronized with a field in Timberline Job Cost.  Instead it is being adjusted by the same amount as another field.  This is because the Uncommitted Cost field in Prolog represents a value that constantly decreases over the life span of the job as contract, invoices and purchase orders are recorded.
