Determine Modifications - Tabs

The following options enable or disable steps in the Determine Modifications Wizard.  This can be useful if the user who normally carries out workflow tasks should not have the option to override options in these steps.

Show Options tab

Leave this box checked to have the Options step of the Determine Modifications Wizard displayed.  This step of the wizard allows the user to select the default approval status of pending modifications.  It also allows the user to elect to have modifications automatically performed.  If this box is unchecked, the options identified in the Determine Modifications - Options box will apply and cannot be overridden by the user in the Determine Modifications Wizard.

Show Job Ranges tab

Leave this box checked to have the Job Ranges step of the Determine Modifications Wizard displayed.  This step of the wizard allows the user to select the jobs to be included when determining modifications.  By defalut, all registered jobs are selected.  If this box is checked, the user may deselect jobs.  If this box is not checked, all registered jobs will be included when determining modifications.

Determine Modifications - Options

The following options control the default selections in the Options step of the Determine Modifications Wizard.  If the Show Options tab box is not checked, the selections here are used by the Determine Modifications task and cannot be overridden by the user.

Automatically approve - Setting

If this box is checked, any pending modifications that are determined will be marked as approved.  Provided that modifications are not automatically being performed as well, the user will still have a chance to review the modifications and override the approval status.  If this box is not checked, the user must approve modifications via the Approve Modifications task.

Automatically approve - Allow Override

If this box is checked, the user may override the option in the Determine Modifications Wizard to have pending modifications automatically approved.  If this box is not checked, the Automatically approve - Setting will determine whether pending modifications are automatically approved or not.  Provided that modifications are not being automatically performed, the user may still review the pending modifications and change the approval status via the Approve Modifications task.

Automatically perform - Setting

If this box is checked, the Automatically perform modifications when finished checkbox in the Determine Modifications Wizard will be checked.  If left checked in the wizard, the Pending Modifications task will be automatically executed following the Determine Modifications task for each type of data selected to exchanged.  This results in a single-step workflow process.

Automatically perform - Allow Override

If this box is checked, the user does not have the ability to override the Automatically perform modifications when finished checkbox value in the Determine Modifications Wizard.

Unattended Execution

Template Project

Optionally use this field to specify a Prolog Manager Project Number that will be used by Integrator as the template project.  Integrator's template project dictates the expected budget code structure for all projects registered to the current connection.  It is this budget code structure that the WBS Relationships for the connection are based on.  If no template project is specified, the first project found in the Prolog Manager database will be used as the template project.
Note - It is advised that a template project is specified instead of allowing the first project to be used.  If the first project in the database is later archived and removed from the database, the first project will change possibly to a project that has a budget code structure that was not intended.  Instead, if a template project is created (e.g. - "TEMPLATE", labeled "Do not use"), and this project contains the intended budget code structure, then no unexpected issues will be encountered as a result of archiving an removing old projects.

Custom Integration Component

This field can be used to specify the filename of a custom DLL or script that contains customized instructions for field mappings or data exchange logic.
