Company Name

Use this Link Tree to identify how the the following fields should be populated:

  • Prolog Company Name (if sending data to Prolog)
  • Prolog Short Name (if sending data to Prolog)
  • Accounts Payable Vendor Name (if sending data to Sage 300 CRE)
Include Prolog Companies with unassigned types

This option only applies if sending data from Prolog to Sage 300 CRE. Check this box if you want to send company data from Prolog to Accounts Payable for companies with a type that has not been assigned on the Company Types tab. Leave this box unchecked to exclude them. This can be used as an effective means to control which companies from Prolog are integrated because if the box is unchecked, only those companies with an assigned type (on the Company Types tab) will be integrated. Companies that of unassigned types (e.g., "Bid Vendors") will not be integrated.

Assign to

If the Include Prolog Companies with unassigned types box is checked, select the Accounts Payable vendor type from this list that should be used when adding or updating these companies in Accounts Payable.

Include Sage 300 CRE Vendors with unassigned types

This option only applies if sending data from Sage 300 CRE to Prolog. Check this box if you want to send vendor data from Accounts Payable to Prolog for vendors with a type that has not been assigned on the Company Types tab. Leave this box unchecked to exclude them. This can be used as an effective means to control which vendors from Accounts Payable are integrated because if the box is unchecked, only those vendors with an assigned type (on the Company Types tab) will be integrated. Vendors that of unassigned types (e.g., "Other", "Overhead") will not be integrated.

Assign to

If the Include Sage 300 CRE Vendors with unassigned types box is checked, select the Prolog company type from this list that should be used when adding or updating these vendors in Prolog.

Report unassigned types as rejections

Check this box to have Integrator report any companies or vendors that do not have an assigned type as a rejected record. If left unchecked (the default) and the above "Include" box is unchecked, no message will be reported and a company or vendor with an unassigned type will simply be silently skipped.

Switch first and last names (for One way, Sage 300 CRE to Prolog only)

Vendor names in Accounts Payable that identify people (e.g., like a consultant), may be entered as "Last-Name; First-Name". This allows vendor lists to be sorted alphabetically by last name while also allowing Accounts Payable to parse the name (by locating the semi-colon) and print checks using "First-Name Last-Name" format. If you have vendors in Accounts Payable that identify people and the names have been entered as "Last-Name; First-Name", you may elect to use this option to have Integrator store the name in Prolog as "First-Name Last Name".

Exchange insurance information

Check this box to have Integrator exchange company/vendor level insurance information. Accounts Payable supports four predefined types of insurance. When sending insurance information from Accounts Payable to Prolog, the type of insurance will be reflected in the Reference column on the Insurance tab under Company Setup in Prolog. If entering insurance information in Prolog and sending it to Accounts Payable, be sure to enter the type of insurance in the Reference column so that Integrator can place the data in the correct set of fields in Accounts Payable. Only the four types of insurance will be integrated. The codes that should be entered in the Reference column are:

  • GL - for General Liability
  • WC - for Workers' Compensation
  • AUTO or AUTOMOBILE - for Automobile Insurance
  • UMB or UMBRELLA - for Umbrella Insurance

The above codes are not case sensitive. If more than one company-level insurance record exists with the same code, only the first one will be integrated.

Exchange Federal IDs

Check this box to populate the Federal ID field in Prolog from the Recipient's Tax ID Number field in Accounts Payable (if sending data from Sage 300 CRE to Prolog); or to populate the Recipient's Tax ID Number field in Accounts Payable from the Federal ID field in Prolog (if sending data from Prolog to Sage 300 CRE).

Important - Take care when using this option with existing data. For example, if the Interface Status is set to Prolog to Sage 300 CRE, this box is checked, and yet there are no values in the Federal ID field in Prolog, the values in the Recipient's Tax ID Number field will be cleared as a result.
